Well, I am hyped for Trinidad Carnival 2008.. If you don't know about Carival in Trinidad well you are missing out. The yearly Carnival in Trinidad is one of the best parties in the world..
Anyway the Carnival season has started! One of the main and most popular Carnival mas bands Tribe has launched. This basically means that they had a big party to showcase all the costumes that they will be offering for the Carnival. So far I love the costumes. Some styles I have seen before but all in all they look GREAT! Extra skimpy of course!
Now starts the fun.. Starting now I will be eating right, hitting the gym, and pouring over the Internet messageboards and blogs for the latest gossip and updates. Also putting away those pennies I find on laying around because costumes can reach prices upwards of $500US. Hey that's the price to feel (or be) a queen for a day (2 actually) and parade in the streets of Port of Spain drunk (all you can drink included) while jumping up to Soca music.
